On the 5th of November every year,
Onlookers gather at vast, emerald domains.
They are murmuring to each other,
Waiting for the distinctive sound of gunpowder.
Suddenly the sky was stained brightly with brilliant lights,
The lively bombarding of kaleidoscopic colour was immense.
People were deafened by the burst of picturesque rainbows,
The colours were rich and beautiful, brilliantly amazing.
The group exclaimed with pleasure,
As psychedelic snapshots filled their heads.
Variegated graphics are nearly at their end,
Adults are yawning, children tugging at their grass-stained trousers.
This was a night that will stay in their minds forever.

Me and my big brother
Yesterday me and my brother were playing Xbox. We played basketball, halo 1, halo 2 and wrestling too. My aunty got to go on a holiday to see a concert to Rotorua. She got to go on a spa to relax while we are at my cousins house to stay for 4 nights. We got to stay up late. Next we also played on the Xbox and playstation, we got to watch movies in the lounge.
The next day we all got to go to the beach at night time to have a BBQ for dinner. We got to play rugby and soccer too. My team won about 50-46. We finally got home. Then we all were still playing x box and playstation till we all went to bed.

LAND WARS
Once upon a time, long long ago there were two tribes.
One was a Maori tibe and the other was a Pakeha tribe.
There were so many issues going on between the two tribes in that time.
The war was all over our lovely New Zealand because both tribes wanted the land of New Zealand for themselves.
The tribes started fighting and the war began. The Maori and Pakeha tribes started physically and verbally fighting with each other. The two tribes became racist against one another and they started disrespecting the other race. The war went on for a whole year.
The war stopped in time because some of the members from the tribe spoke out and said "Lets stop fighting because everyone is getting killed and hurt. It is silly, can't you see?"
Then the next day they sat down and had a nice talk about their beautiful cultures and started sorting everything out because they realised they needed to learn about each others cultural identities.
Now they have learnt about the significance of land to the different tribes and about the history of both cultures. It was important for them to know and understand the differences between thier tribes, so they can try and understand each other before judging their actions.
The Maori and Pakeha tribe learnt to respect each other and learnt to share. The tribes resolved their problems and halved the land equally between them. The tribes learnt to value differnt cultures as it forms peoples identity.
The moral of the story is to learn how to share and to respect others

Football Superstar
It was my first game today against Melbourne Machines. I was playing for Sydney Blues. We were always the under dogs - we never made it to the Australian Nationals. This was the game to decide our place. We started the game and Louis scored the first goal to put us in the lead. At 14 minutes they struck straight away and it was 1-1. After that it was up to us to win the game and we went on to win the game 2-1. I scored the winner! We had finally made it. We were ecstatic.
We kept winning and made it to the Quarter finals against North Queensland Fury. We went into extra time on 0-0 but it looked hopeless until I scored a free kick from 35 yards away - we won that game. I was amazed .
It was the Semi-Finals against the reining champs Melbourne Victory. They had the most aggressive player in the tournament, Araan, he was named. We went into the break and all went well until Aaran decided that he was not happy about the score. I got the ball and he was on to me straight away. I dragged him one way and went the other - it was a nice play but then he came running at me with a studs up slide tackle. It felt like it was raining needles on my ankle. I took a look at it it was definitely snapped. They took me out on the stretcher and Aaran was red carded. They went on and won the game 2-1. My dream was not made into reality but I was proud of my commitments and my efforts.
I took two years off soccer and came back on a good start.

Climate Change - my view
Climate change is caused by humans dumping our rubbish on the ground.
Firstly, we are causing climate change by dumping our rubbish all over the ground and making a big pile of junk. To make us die
Secondly, humans are cutting down trees from forest’s to make paper and other things. From plants to trees to paper
Lastly, the vehicles are the most polluting things in the world. By producing CO2 in the air.
So that is why I think humans are causing climate change in the world!

A dark night
It was a cold and windy night. I was snuggled up in bed reading a book by my all time favourite author when suddenly there was a huge bang and my bedroom door flung open. As I stared at the door way a dark shadow appeared. It slowly crept up to my bed. I was shaking in my blanket, all terrified.
What could it be? I was too scared to think. It came closer and closer…I was screaming now, my eyes shut tight. Just then I heard someone laughing.
I opened my eyes and found out it was my brother who had tricked me. I was really angry at him but he kept on laughing and after a while I started laughing too.

Rainbow Warrior
Do you know what Rainbow Warrior is?
Do you know what a rainbow is?
Yes, a beautiful bow of colours in the sky.
Do you know what a warrior is??
A warrior is a brave person.
One who has courage instead of being afraid?
Now let me ask you a question.
Do you love animals or hate animals?
Do you love trees or hate trees?
Do you love people or hate people?
Do you love the rainbow or hate the rainbow?
Well, if you love animals and trees, people and
rainbows, then maybe you are a
